Iggdrasil was recorded on an eight track in early 2009, this lends to its sound with sparse arrangements concentrating mainly on Hamish’s unique guitar playing style. You get phantoms of piano and percussions drifting in and out of the gutsy 12 string folk. The songs are a mixture of political and travelling songs, with the stand out tracks being; On the rocks, Fight till the End and the epic title track Iggdrasil.
